Your Land Cruiser journey leads to a fixed camp in Vaattojärvi, Kolari. Spend the evening between the winter sky and the warmth of the tent, with soup or stew, bread, hot berry juice and stove-top coffee. This is a camp-and-dining evening rather than an unlimited road chase. We discuss the forecast with you before departure.

The first two guests may be any age. Additional guests aged 16+: €90 for the third, €60 for the fourth. Additional under-16s: €15 each instead. Two adults + two under-16s: €625. Maximum four guests.
Cameras & filming
GoPro HERO13 Black and DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro cameras are available to borrow on request, subject to availability and a personally confirmed arrangement.
Drone filming can be requested and quoted personally. Flights are considered only at or above −20°C, when weather, safe flying conditions and permissions allow. Footage is never guaranteed.

Your pickup takes you to our fixed Vaattojärvi cabin site. The meeting point, time and private-site address are confirmed before booking.
Terms & weather
Our fixed private cabin site in Vaattojärvi is a comfort-first hot-tent evening, not an unlimited-distance road chase. Aurora is never guaranteed. A safe cloudy-night dinner proceeds only after an honest forecast discussion and your choice to continue. If no aurora is seen on this completed standalone evening, we refund 30%. The first two guests use the stated group rate at any age. Guests aged 16+ fill those included places first; each additional under-16 guest is €15, within the four-guest maximum.
We review the weather hourly. If it threatens the enjoyment or quality of your experience, choose to rebook or cancel before departure for a 100% refund, including your deposit. If we cannot deliver an enjoyable outing, we rebook or refund in full. Outings proceed only when safe and after an informed discussion.
Booking & preparation
Dates, suitability, luggage, child restraints and dietary needs are reviewed personally. A 25% deposit secures your confirmed date; the 75% balance is due seven days before departure. Book within seven days and pay in full.
Bring warm base layers, winter outerwear, insulated boots, hat and gloves. Listed camp equipment is provided; clothing is not.

Is the tour held in Levi or Ylläs?
Levi and Ylläs are pickup areas. The evening itself takes place at our private cabin hot-tent site in Vaattojärvi, Kolari. Rovaniemi and Kittilä pickups are also considered; your route and timing are confirmed before booking.
What happens if we do not see the northern lights?
Aurora sightings cannot be guaranteed. If no aurora is seen during a completed standalone Aurora Evening, we refund 30%. If bad weather threatens the quality of your outing, you can instead rebook or cancel before departure for a full refund, including your deposit.
Can children join the private evening?
The group can include up to four guests, subject to suitable child restraints and confirmed vehicle capacity. The first two guests may be any age. Guests aged 16 or over fill those places first; each additional under-16 guest uses the child supplement shown in the pricing. Include every child’s age in your enquiry.
Is dinner included?
Yes. The evening includes soup or stew, bread, hot berry juice and stove-top coffee, along with camp dining equipment. Tell us about allergies and dietary requirements before booking so the meal can be planned personally.
